Every year, our VITA program helps thousands of families file their taxes accurately and for free—Generating millions of dollars in Savings, Refunds, and credits for our community. None of this would be possible without our dedicated volunteers.

By giving just a few hours a week, you can:

Must be a US citizen and at least 18 years of age to volunteer.

No Experience? No Problem.

You don’t need to be a “numbers person” to make a difference! We provide free IRS-approved training and certification. You choose the role that fits your skills and comfort level.

Volunteer With Us

Training & Support

Training is offered in the fall and early January.
Certification is completed online at your own pace, with support from our team.
Ongoing mentoring and resources are available throughout tax season.
You’ll never be on your own—our experienced site coordinators are always there to help.

Time Commitment

Flexible scheduling—volunteer just a few hours a week or more if you’re able.
Tax season runs late January through mid-April.
Evening and weekend shifts available at multiple Chester County sites.
